Gill Millard, MBAcC
Offering acupuncture in the historic city of Chichester, West Sussex.
About me
I’m Gill, and I live and work in the beautiful city of Chichester, West Sussex. I received a BSc in Acupuncture from the University of Greenwich, and trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM).
I have been a member of BAaC since 2020 and have been practicing for the past five years.
I feel passionately that acupuncture can help you with rest and relaxation, and is a complimentary therapy which can be used alongside conventional medical treatments.
Acupuncture
Having studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I am an ardent supporter of viewing the body as a whole person so that any therapeutic work will affect both mind, body and spirit. Seeing each client as an individual whose treatment will reflect their needs at any given moment in time.
If you are new to acupuncture, in a nutshell it is the insertion of fine sterile needles to help balance Qi. There are different styles of acupuncture, I practice TCM and the more classical Stems and Branches. When choosing points to needle, I will often identify a range of places on the body. This is because your body’s system works as a whole.
Acupuncture can help with:
Chronic pain
Headaches and migraines
Back and neck aches
Mental health and wellbeing
Digestion
Bladder issues
Premenstrual symptoms
Menopause symptoms
Cancer treatment side effects

Julie,
“I’ve been going to Gill for help because I was feeling the need to go to the toilet frequently during the night. After one session this went down… and after a few more sessions… I feel so much better and get a good night’s sleep now. The whole experience was very relaxing. Gill is very pleasant and welcoming too which helps a lot.”
Liz,
“Since moving to West Sussex I have had the privilege of seeing Gill for her acupuncture sessions for about a year. Over that time I have felt more energised, stronger, clearer of mind and generally much better in myself and I account this to Gill’s work. I truly believe everyone needs acupuncture in their lives!”
